Update

Keeping with my current trend, this will be my annual xanga update for 2006. Since my last entry, I have:

  1. Quit IBM
  2. Left Tucson
  3. Moved to NorCal
  4. Started law school at UC Davis

...and most importantly I got bangs!  haha

God bless! See you in 2007.

This is where I actually update more than once a year: jujubei.blogspot.com

"17 So I hated life, because the work that is done under the sun was grievous to me. All of it is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. 18 I hated all the things I had toiled for under the sun, because I must leave them to the one who comes after me. 19 And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have control over all the work into which I have poured my effort and skill under the sun. This too is meaningless."                                         -Ecclesiastes 2:17-19

"23 This is what the LORD says:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
24   but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
       justice and righteousness on earth,
       for in these I delight,"
       declares the LORD."                          -Jeremiah 9:23-24

Isn't it funny how throughout all time, this still holds true? People think life's purpose is to accumulate treasures, materials, fame, wealth, and power. But what does that leave us with when our stay on earth is over? We work so hard for what we must leave behind. Doesn't it make more logical sense to work harder for what we can actually take with us?

Just a snack for thought, like this!

"Anyone can do any amount of work, provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at that moment."  ~Robert Benchley

Welcome to my first entry, written over a year after the creation of this xanga. I'm currently at work, meaning I'm also procratinating... in my defense, waiting on information to arrive from someone slower than myself.

For those who know me, you know I am full of interesting but useless factoids. I always seem to remember those over important and useful information I learn. So here is an interesting and useless factoid for you!

Did you know that people who pick their noses are actually happier, healthier and more in touch with their bodies? And eating boogers can strengthen your immune system! Read on at http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_903083.html.
